If this is a pre-1905 car it´s got a very "modern" technical layout.
Front engine, maybe even more than 2 cylinders - O.K. the chassis is really oldschool...

Not front engined, I'd say: more likely under-floor/seat like Cadillac/Olds/early Ford.
Seems quite small

Hi, that seems an Overland Runabout from 1903 without lamps, fenders, radiator's cover and with a steering wheel instead of a bar...
