Nice job!

Many know that Willys, Bantam and Ford submitted prototypes when the Army spec'd a light recon vehicle. Chevrolet, Kaiser and Davis also submitted vehicles for consideration. Few remember Checker's jeep prototype. This example was photographed at the Gilmore museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan. Though it's in the middle of nowhere, well worth the trip. I didn't take this pic, though I have quite a few stored in my digital camera that I'll have to upload at some later date.
