Who can tell me the name of this beauty?
I do not have the answer so, please, provide some proofs.
I know the base and the nationality.
Enjoy!

DynaMike

Brrr...
The base is a Citroën Ami Super ?

Paul Jaray

Citroën is correct...I think it's 2cv based and the pics I have come from a 2cv meeting.

DynaMike

I did my guess because of the grille emblem that was used on the Ami Super,  but in fact it is virtually the same base, only with a 4-cylinder engine from the GS.

Allemano

is it at least big engined?  :yuck:

guido66

No additional information, but I did find another photo

DeAutogids

Paul Jaray

I don't think...I can only presume that is French, at least according to the license plate: 1712SM34.

DeAutogids

So from the Montpellier area?

Paul Jaray

I have not the answers...I shared all I know about in my previous posts  :-\

DynaMike

Well, the license plate doesn't tell us where the car was built, but De Autogids is correct in identifying that this license plate is from the Montpellier area: '34' indicates the Hérault department in France, of which Montpellier is the capital.

I found another picture of this car in a small article about a 2CV meeting in Saint Paul de Varax (near Lyon) in May 2002. But still no info about who's done this customization...

Paul Jaray

Nice pic...but where's the puzzle car?

DynaMike

Sorry, I uploaded the wrong picture... Now replaced ;)

Oguerrerob

Citrobel, in polyester, it now belongs to another deuxchiste.
conducted in the early 80's, we see here in a zedelgem 81, the 4 th World Meeting in Belgium.

Oguerrerob, you copied the caption of a different picture, the one below the puzzle car:
" inspiration jaguar par un ex-ami deuchiste belge, surnommé citrobel,en polyester, elle appartient maintenant a un autre deuxchiste.
réalisée au début des 80,on la voit ici en 81 a zedelgem,la 4 iéme rencontre mondiale en belgique.. "
;)

Oguerrerob

Sorry, I've just found that picture as Citrobel, maybe I've misread.
So, Also I've found several pictures with different descriptions: Une Deuche GT40 (croisement entre une 2cv et une Ford GT40); Croisement genetique 2cv et GT40.

dzima1985

I found a picture of this car a couple of years ago. Under the photograph bore the inscription - RTA 2CV 1971. However, I have not found any information about this car and I doubt his name.

Paul Jaray

Still no info about?
There are a lot of 2cv sites, events, magazines...this one seems to be present in some of them...no one knows more?

After almost six years here, does anyone have anymore clues as yet about this amazing Herault-registered 2CV GT40 please?  I am now trying to trace the car for a possible future event.  Merci beaucoup.

Here is another photo of this amazing 2CV transformation.  I now know where it was seen, but frustratingly I still have no idea about who built it.  Any clues perhaps?

Any clues perhaps please? (as of all the Puzzles lost in BH, this is the one that's bugging me the most, as I regularly stumble across photos of the 2CV-GT40, but never with any more information about the car!). Thanks.

:bump:
