I found the picture of this car and did not find a great deal of it.
What I need is the full name of the car and the actual builder. I also would like to know the purpose of the car.

DeAutogids

Moved to experts, sure they will know

DeAutogids

The car is not German either...

microcars

would it have been a "service car" used by a manufacturer or dealer?

Maybe the 1963 Autocars Sussita ?

DeAutogids

The year is wrong, the make is wrong and the country is wrong as well.

DeAutogids

No, not Eastern Europe either...

OK, first obvious question: Anything to do with DAF?

DeAutogids

The question is obvious, but also it is so. It is related to DAF.

D-type

Just speculating:
Was the purpose of the car to investigate the possibility of using the DAF 'Variomatic' transmission in a front-wheel-drive configuration?
Duncan Rollo

The more you learn, the more you realise how little you know.

DeAutogids

Not it was not.
I will give you this hint: It was to investigate something and it did feature the variomatic. But being a Daf, I suppose that goes without saying.

whcgt

Is it a Trabant station wagon, from eastern europe?
