When future was fabulous...

Still this is one of my most liked books, because it shows a highly optimistic view into a technologically dominated future.

Reality today shows us that we have to be very careful with most technologies. It has got to help mankind to develop itself, not to destroy us.

I´ve made those photos at a book market in Lucca/Italy, where I´ve found this very rare copy.

First I thought it was too expensive so I made those spy photos. In the end I´ve bought it anyway... :D

I was 14 in 1960 and I remember my father bringing home this book.  He was a junior executive for an auto supplier.  My brother and I pored over that volume for years, and I don't know what happened to it.  I should ask my brother, as he got a lot of our father's things.
