Automotive math 1st edition:

One (1) Euro spec 2012 VW Golf R
- Dual clutch tranny
- ESP defeat option
- Sport mode variable throttle and steering maps   
- 9 horsepower
- 155 MPH speed limiter
+ 130 MPH speed limiter

Not terribly favorable arithmetic IMHO.  :(

No worries: their Camry-ized mainstream cars are flying off the lots. Their strategy, sell enthusiast cars in Europe, and de-contented appliances in the US, appears sound.
