I haven't found the photo of the car but after a search I can only guess that this is the car owned by the Swiss Peter Hirt. Possibly built 1949 and later rebodied by Touring or perhaps Drews?

Thanks for the lock but I haven't found anything else that relates to a non-German driver related to AFM.
Please open it again - I'm very interested to learn what it is......

In 1954 the Swiss racing driver Heini Walter bought Hans Stuck's AFM Monoposto. The coachbuilder Fridolin from Freiburg (Germany) built a sports car body for this chassis. Heini Walter wasn't very successful with the AFM.

Yes I remember Heini Walter but didn't associate him owning an AFM - I'm learning so much through this site!
