Take a Mikrus chassis, put a Broadspeed mini“s rear end and a Citroen DS-style roof on it and - voila...

Well, might be british, then?

JR

This looks very much like the Hillman Imp prototype known as "The Slug"  from 1955.

SACO

What's this, for 1 point ?  :)

Rusty Chrome

It's the Slug, one of the prototypes for the Hillman Imp. Apparently powered by a Citroen 2CV engine in the rear

SACO

Yes !it's the Slug !
This version has  a flat-twin engine but not from a 2CV !
Locked for you !  :)

Rusty Chrome

Sorry my mistake, there was was an initial version with a body by the Bacon Sheet Metal Company powered by a 2CV engine. This is one of two slightly later versions with a Villiers 600cc  flat twin and body by Pressed Steel.

SACO

Yes!
Prototype Hillman "Slug " with Villiers engine !
1 point for Rusty Chrome !  :)
But it's a repost with Puzzle#320 !
