Don't know where to put this, exactly, but this is an idea that has very popular over at that OTHER website. The idea is simple. Post a picture of something related to transportation that contains a whole number. Each subsequent post must be a picture that is one number higher.

I'll get us started.  The NEXT picture should be of an automotive or transportation device that contains the number "2".

Since I started the thread, I shall be the sole grand imperial wizard when it comes to judging any submission for compliance with the rules!    ;D

And yes, I am aware that there are some cars out there that have raced with the number "0" and even "00".  WE are starting with "1" and going upward from there. No negative numbers, decimals, fractions, surds or algebraic formulations will be accepted!   ;D

How about pictures that contain multiples of automotive things - such as 3 cars on a track, a 4 cylinder engine, etc?

Oh heck, I'm going to "wing" it.  :D

But, just to be safe, here's Mario at Stardust in 1968. This race was Andretti's only CanAm start in George Bignotti's T160 in 1968.

The judges say that while your first pic is a clever interpretation of the rules and a very nice photo, btw), the SECOND pic is the one that counts.  The numeral must be contained in the picture. No screen shots where the number appears in the accompanying text, for example. (I was taken to the woodshed for doing this elsewhere.)

Let's see if I can move this along. Here's is a motorized thingamabob with the numeral "4" clearly evident.

There's only one "7" that belongs in this thread:

Oh, we're cookin' now, lads! Though GW's #10 entry shows only a red x on my screen.  Now if we can get a few more to wander over to this thread and join in the fun.!   ;D

I had several choices for #13, but just couldn't resist this one:

This guy, for one :):

Back on topic, proving that size matters:

(For those older members with impeccable vision and perception but saddled with blurry monitors, there's a "15" etched in the crankcase just below the "hpi" )

EDIT: I post too slow, KU beat me to 15.

Ahhhh....it's a cut throat business, this picture locating and posting business.   ;D

Welcome to the thread, S&M.  I believe there is still room for an entry for #16, amigo!    ;)

By the way, kudos to KU for #15 and the accompanying information!   :applause:
