Lamborghini Diablo early prototype. 1 side showed the older design by Martello Gandini, the other side showed the Chrysler design. Chrysler was the owner of Lamborghini at that time.

You are right, morphly, but this car has a personal name (prototype's number), not a Diablo.

Yes, Lamborghini P132, and was built three prototypes (P1, P2, P3) between 1986 and 1988. I give you point.  

Automobili Lamborghini SpA was bought by Chrysler, and they changed the original design completely, and image on this topic - a prototype that was half Gandini and half Chrysler designed, this way it was easy to compare both against each other.
This hybrid was compared to the Countach and a Ferrari TestaRossa on an enclosed part of the factory parking lot. Lee Iacocca was present at this comparison, the new Diablo didn't quite live up to the expectations and the Chrysler design was altered again, this time to something much closer to the final Diablo.
