No, a small handful were made, but they are all a bit different.

It looks a lot like the HWM-Jaguar open car XPE2. Was it rebodied at some time ?

No, it was built like this and it's not related to HWM or Jaguar..

One of the Tojeiro-Bristols was built as a road car, but I've never seen a photo so I don't know whether it was open or closed. Is this it ?

Indeed, it was the de Joux GT.  I believe these early cars were Standard Vanguard-based, but the later ones had V8 engines.
