You never answered if it is a 6C or if Zagato is the coachbuilder?

It is Alfa Romeo Tipo 8C-2300 Corto Spider Corsa supercharged chassis # 2111027; originally a Scuderia Ferrari Zagato Spider which was 2nd in the 1932 24 hrs of Spa-Francorchamps. It later had a closed Zagato body and then the open style seen in the puzzle picture. The car went to the UK before WW II and was on sale see advertisement.

SACO

Yes ,1 point for ropat53 !

Paul Jaray

This car is very well known, but not in this form.

1 point for the puzzler who tells me wich car it was before (exact model)
&
1 point for the coachbuilder who realized this body (I do not know but have a slight idea...)

I won't lock it with just make and model, this very car is pretty known...if you think you recognize it, be sure you have the right car.
