Not Bitter and not Ghia !

I have found reference to it as a Vauxhall GT Concept Prototype, which is a very vague and "general" description.

I can find no more information at the present time. (That photo is a Vauxhall/GM press picture which was for sale on E-bay in the past)
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

SACO

Yes , Vauxhall GT Concept Prototype ( no more information ! )
1 point for you !

nicanary

Yes, I found that photo of the frontal aspect too. That was a really good-looking car, such a pity it didn't reach production. No doubt GM would have had trouble selling it under the Vauxhall brand name, but what a waste !

Taken form eBay auctions:
Photos taken inside Vauxhalls Design & Engineering Centre centred around the 1965 GT Concept car prototype.

the model seems to be assymetrical, with different door cut, window shape and rear wheelarch on each side.

So wonderful!!!

wingroad

Pity they did not make it,would have made an absolute classic today even compared with the Aston Martin

History shows though that the public don't buy a sports car with a Vauxhall badge, however good it might look or be..

True Carnut, have to go on ebay and see the pictures are still there

May it be a Vauxhall or not this is one of the most beautiful designs I've ever seen! Reminds me on Chuck Jordan's Opel CD concept from around the same time.
