Here are 10 more or less famous designers, numbered A to J.
Then 9 of the cars (american all) that they designed, plus a guitar, numbered 1 to 10.  Most are production cars, some are prototypes. The guitar... well, one of those men, besides the numerous cars he designed, also designed a guitar.
Car design has always been a team job. However, these men were in most cases the main designers of those cars, and if not very deeply involved.
The game is to name the men, name the cars, and of course to pair them. One point will reward each identified pair. The cars should be easy to recognize, at least.

Now the cars. I made a second post because I believe the limit is 12 attachments by post (if an admin can put the cars and men in 2 columns in the first post, the men to the left and the cars to the right, it's fine with me.  I will delete this message).

Right. Technically it's a Frazer, but I can't hold that against you.

New scores. This going faster than I thought.

G=Alex Tremulis  and #9 Tucker Torpedo - Tifosi
F= Richard Caleal matches #4 1949 Ford - Tifosi

I am amazed that you thought of Richard Caleal, not very well known. This is the only picture of him I've found (I should have put Holden "Bob" Koto, but I couldn't find any of him.

I have one more guess...could J be Robert Bourke, designer of the 1953 Studebaker Starlight in # 2?  I remembered that there was a team of 3 designers who were actively involved in the design of the '49 Ford and the '53 Studebaker, and that there was controversy over just who actually was responsible for the original design of the  Ford.  The credit goes to Caleal, but both Koto and Bourke challenged it.  Evidently, the car might have orginally been intended to be a Studebaker...

Caleal was the only one of the three men I could find a picture of, and it was the same one that you posted, Ray.  So, I'm guessing on Bourke...

Robert Bourke and the 1953 Studebaker. Although Loewy, as usual, took all the credit, he is supposed to be the man behind that design. Right again. As for the 1949 Ford, the story is here:

This leaves only one: who did the guitar, and what guitar ?
