Recently, AutoPuzzles super-solver Paul Jaray had occasion to attend the "Fiera del Madonnino" (or Madonnino's Fair) in Braccagni, a small town near his home in Grosseto. To all of our good fortune, he brought along a camera. From microcars to GT's, a streamlined baby stroller and Volkswagen's answer to the Levi's Edition Gremlin, there's something for everyone in the pictures he's shared with us.

Enjoy!  :)

Stay tuned - there's lots more where these came from!

There's something like that streamlined baby stroller back at my parents' place - it's American, it's mint green, from the 50s and in very good condition. I'll snap a picture of it the next time I'm there :)

In Poland we also had streamlined baby strollers in the 50s. I think I have a period photo somewhere, gonna take a look.
It's not denial, I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

This is strange. I'm returning to AutoPuzzles with pictures of a... baby stroller.

Sorry about the poor quality - I used my mobile phone and the lighting was poor.

If it was yours, this explain many things....  :D

;D

No, I have never set foot in this. My mother has, though, way back in the Fifties :)

@re's post reminded me that I also promised some period photos of the strollers. Currently I only have this one, but there is at least one more somewhere in my house, with a more streamlined one. Gotta take a look during the weekend. In the meantime - this was made around 1955:
