This now-dilapidated car was built by a regular on the So-Cal road racing scene of the '50's and '60's.

Name the car, and if you can, tell us what you know about the builder.

It is Ford based, but I do not believe a British Ford. Info is sketchy on this one - the current owner is himself looking for more information.

Jagman

is that one of the "Old Yellar" series?

Ford-based; So-Cal race scene - how many cars can that possibly include?

Suposed to have been made in the AK Miller garage by Walt Gussenbauer in Long Beach, CA for the 1954 La Carrera Pan American. The car then went to the Philippines to race, then back to the US. Joe Alphabet (not a typo) in CA then owned the car for a while.

One of Walt's Lincoln Specials (#81 / lower right) in action at Willow Springs in 1958.

Willow Entry List, featuring three of Gussenbauer's cars.

Restored!

Looks more like 1:43 model in terms of details... Or maybe just a bad picture/paintjob?
