Know what it is?

Please, respond below and let us know what car you think you see here. First correct ID of brand and model designation takes it.

Are you PhotoShopping this pix to make them more difficutl?  This thing looks like it is being lit by the Heavenly Host on Christmas Eve!  And it APPEARS to be sporting tires from a good ol' US Army deuce and a half!    ???

I have softened the pic to make the badging less readable.

The hurrier I get, the behinder I get

That should have been Siata, not Seat

Like I said, more haste, less speed

My latest try is Steyr, Vignale body; the part about Fiat 500 based still stands

Otto Puzzell

No, no of those.

The tires on this car give a hint to it's somewhat unique configuration at the time it was built.

Ah HAH!  I KNEW there was something odd about those tires. Methinks the vehicle may be an early 4wd.     ???

Why?  I have no idea, as usual....... :(

God, I'm a certified genius!   :o

Now, Why would anyone do such a thing and who would do it?

Hmmmmmm.........

I am going to say it is by one of those outfits that got folded into Audi after the War and that the car was for alpine duty -perhaps by Swiss or Austrian members of the constabulary of some sort.

Auto Union or Horch are my guesses.

Even though I KNOW its by those fun folks who specialize in 4wd vehicles - TATRA!     ;)
