Ballot prototype 1918-1919, driver René Thomas

Paul Jaray

Not that, not him, but you got the nationality right.
I see why you thought of Ballot...

Paul Jaray

I know where you found these info, but mine should be more reliable because they come from a site dedicated to this small maker. The driver is identified as a relative of the founder.
The year is also wrong...

guido66

So, there not involvement from Ernest Henry in this car at all?

Now that I know the year is wrong, I'd say it's a bit older, from just before WW1?

Paul Jaray

The car is just before WW1, it has a Ballot engine and was a prototype for the later production.

guido66

I think i have it now ;)

a 1913 Terrot IX prototype, with a the wheel Ernest Terrot, cousin of company director Willem Duttlinger

Paul Jaray

That is correct, quite different from the later production car, isn't it?
One point for you!
