Oh, God!  This HAS to be one of those fiberglass knockoffs of the MG TD based on a V Dub chassis.  I particularly like the wheels/wheel covers. VERY "classic", if you know what I mean.   ::)

So, for all practical purposes, its a VW, right?

Happy Thanksgiving to you, sir!

No V-dub parts in this mutt. Unlike the untold legions of MG-look clones, this one is actually British, and doesn't (IMO) try to convince people that it's really an MG.

By the way, though MG's guess was Miles off, I yam not trying to be Stand-off-ish.

I had hoped there'd have been more progress on this puzzle. Who knows, one of our intrepid AutoPuzzlers might achieve his or her fifth correct rookie puzzle, and sail into the Expert ranks.

Please read through all the clues again. The answer is staring at you, wearing a big hat with a buckle on it.

Its a Smiley?????    ;D

You are being very droll this ayem, sir. Although you have stuffed us with more clues than one could shake a drumstick at, still, the gravy on the mashed potatoes, in the form of an actual answer, escapes me. Nonetheless, I will try to slice my way into the giblets fo the problem and see if I cannot turnip a guess. Lettuce then proceed to use the old squash to analyze the clues. Maybe someday I will leave the ranks fo the rookies, which would really be the icing on the cake!   :o

Although I may be an * it, I am going to say this car is a Standish!    ???

Whatever the hell THAT is!    ;)

Happy Thanksgiving to all those in the US, I guess given what weekend it is and the clues, it must be made by Pilgrim? I think the model name is Bulldog?

Regards
Glenn

I sincerely hope that the over-the-top clues in these Thanksgiving threads will encourage our readers to revisit some of our other unsolved puzzles.

Some of the clues are super-obvious, MG's protests notwithstanding. :D

Virtually anything I type might be a clue.  8)

Well, yeah. Now that you say it, I guess that WAS a rather obvious clue.       ;D
