US-american?
No sir.
The roofline and the size reminds me of an Opel Manta A.

Not an Opel.
Australian?
Nope.
A MK3 Ford Cortina concept .
Not one of those.
SeaLion's second guess was the closest so far, though off by some miles and one language.
This prototype bears some resemblance to a production model that followed, but not too much. And as the inestimable Mr. Lion surmised, there was a strong American streak in this car's look.
<bump>
Then if it isn't an Opel and "is off by some miles and language" it should be a Vauxhall prototype. Perhaps the Firenza or the earlier Victor since this is a B&W photo?
Vauxhall prototype yes, but not the models you've listed.
As my 5-year-old daughter would say: "A CLUE! A CLUE!"
Astra?
Dan
Viva? Magnum?
Dan
Commodore? Perhaps too early for that. Cresta? Ventora sketch since it is a two door? Looks nothing like a Wyvern (too modern) but a Velox coupé sketch?
Vauxahall Viva 2 Door Saloon prototype from 1967.
Nice work! :D
A friend of mine has a early 70s in a field and the prototype and production look almost nothing. Not sure which is better though. :D
