Looks like a Corvair variant.  Nice design.

Its a Trebek?    :o

No, I really have no idea, although I would hazard a guess that it is from one of the Italian design houses, perhaps PininFarina or Ghia. Definitely NOT from Bertone.

Not for nuttin', as we say in Vo Disland, but the second generation Corvair was a VERY attractive design, imho, one that has continued to look good as the years go by.  By the same token, the second generation Fiero was also a damn nice looking design that has aged well. It is odd the GM has killed off two (at least) products just when they have gotten them "right."  One could argue that the Cadillac Allante with the Northstar engine was a third.

What? I got one right????   Why that means only four more and I will become a Puzzle Master. or a Master Puzzler or a Master Debater or something.    ;D

Frankly, I think the original Chevy design for the second generation Corvair was just fine and I can't say that this reworking by PininFarina adds very much. Myself, I would remove the back seat, switch the engine around to make it mid-engined car, add the Turbo, give it some nice Recaro seats and a modern dash and Voila!  You would have spent 30 grand to have a car that has a market value of about a buck 2.98!    ::)

Anyway, I like Gen II Corvairs. I may have said that already.

As it happens, this car predates the Corvair MKII, and it is generally believed to have somewhat influenced its looks.
