Ha! Now you know how the rest of us feel most of the time!  ;D

Here's one for ya! If nothing else, it may introduce you to a fascinating and relatively obscure carrosserie.

Would that be a 1954 Jaguar Mk VII Cabriolet (II), s/n 721420-DN, built by Carrosserie Ghia Aigle?

Whoa!  :o :o :o

Nicely done. Spot on.

I was searching for something else last night and stumbled upon the Ghia-Aigle website http://www.ghia-aigle.info/cars.htm and said to myself "Self, I forgot about the automobiles of Ghia-Aigle. I wonder if Karnutz is familiar with them."

Evidently, that would be a "Yes."

That site is one of my favorites. I've posted some of their other works in various NTC threads in the last few years.

Yeah, well, he was just showing off at that point. Of course, any one of us would have done the same damn thing, now wouldn't we? ;D

By the by, I've been staring at your avatar for three and a half hours non-stop. It's... nice. Yup. Nice. If somebody were to come up to me and whisper in my ear that I should dance around like a chicken, I daresay I would, it's that hypnotizing.

It worked!

I know I've seen this car before, but it'll take me some time.

And, until he mentioned the Porsche engine, I hadn't noticed the exhaust pipes going forward and down - like a front engined Beetle or Porsche - very interesting use of the motor, was it front or rear drive?

The exhaust pipes?  ???

Are we looking at the same car?

Apparently not, I was replying to the Blue Argentinian car, where the heck was it?

Must have been a bunch of posts since it that didn't show up when I clicked "reply"......I'm working off the "replies since your last visit" link.

Since I've answered several in this manner, be prepared for even more out of sequence replies.........

Dubonnet/Curb Records Gurney Eagle Pontiac?
You wanna be the man, you gotta Name That Car!

Tifosi

Looks like it could be one of the last AAR Eagles from Dan Gurney...the number 98 suggests Agajanian, as does the Curb Records logo on the wing.  Dubonnet sponsored  Gurney at Indy in 1984, but this car doesn't quite look like the Eagles that ran there in the early-mid '80's.  I'm thinking the car is newer than that.  No idea on the driver.

I'm intrigued and bewildered.  I'll check some old yearbooks to make sure, but I don't remember ever seeing this car at Indy.
