Just a part of something that you may be able to identify (well I think SeaLion will . . . )

Arthur Dent

Sure looks like a Bond Bug to me.

It sure does. As all Bond Bugs it is probably orange. And the headlights they used on the Bond Bug was sourced from the early Fiat 127.

Arthur Dent

Interestingly the prototypes were lime green but orange was choosen for production as it was cheaper

I spotted a Bong Bug shell locally a while back. I've met the owner once and he has a selection of microcars. If I remember correctly he said he brought two over from the UK. I'd assume to make one good one.

I know SeaLion (as do the rest of us) prefers the one wheel at the back, but I thought a bit of a three-wheeler might lighten it up a bit.
I live about 1 kilometer from the David Ogle works where the prototype Bug was made: someone brought it to the pub and we all tried it - I am too tall (even seated) for the lid to close, so I didn't get a drive.

I'm not sure about the title of this thread. I believe Arthur ID'd the car.
You wanna be the man, you gotta Name That Car!
