based is best - as C.E. (Johnny) Johnson said you wouldn't call an ERA engine Riley, but Riley-based.
I was actually trying to work out which A type it was, but from the view we had (and where's it gone?) it isn't obvious and I am not familiar with all the current paint schemes.
