Another post-war racer from Allan L:Solved! Turner F2

Well, this may fox most of you, but I would never underestimate the knowledge some puzzlers have ov the lesser byways of motoring.

Connaught? I would guess about 1955, a Formula 2 car

Not a Connaught, but the rest is o.k.

Have I repeated what has been set before (as I did with the GSM Flaming o), or did you just happen to know?!

Neither - I piggy-backed on pieter's 1952 & Formula 2 guesses.

And you could find that photo on the internet!

I didn't find that particular one, but I found another that showed the hood bulge and the eggcrate grille clearly enough to  make a solid guess.
