1969 Opel Admiral Coupé by Frua!

I recognised the straws...

I knew I should have airbrushed those out of the picture!

Is there a story behind how the straw got there?

As far as I can tell, the car was put on display like this at the European Oldtimergala last year. It was just about to be restored to its former glory and the straws were probably there to show what condition it was in after having been in storage for years.

Here's a front view.
Apparently Frua called this car the Opel Diplomat Speciale at the time, even though it was based on an Admiral..
