Yes.

I don't find it as repugnant as you apparently do. In general shape, the grill is similar to an early '70's AMC Ambassador. I do not see the BMW resemblance at all.

It is the US-american short-lived Momo Mk. 1, introduced in 1971. Frua did the body design and Stanguellini made the chassis. The engine was a 5.7 litre Chevrolet V8 with 350 bhp, fed through either a 5-speed ZF or a 3-speed automatic transmission.
