A wild guess: Audi 80 Avant? (Cannot remember ever seeing one, only going by the hub caps.)

Dahlis

Otto Puzzell

DKW, yes. Different model designation for this car.

Well, we've got bits and pieces of the answer. This (prototype) wagon was based on what relatively unsuccessful sedan?

What's this, by whom, from where?  For 1 point..

Welcome to AutoPuzzles Renan - the home of things that are rarely quite what they seem to be...

It's neither an Isuzu nor Japanese!

DKW Fissore, build between 1964 and 1967 in Brazil and styled by the Italian company. There were also a four- and twodoor version. About 2600 were made.

That's right, but the car has a name.  It's not the regular station wagon.
Locked for 24 hours for you to come back with it.

I would have to look that bit up ...

I know there was a DKW Belcar en Vemaguet Stationwagon (based on the DKW 3=6 'Grosser') and a Candango (based on the Mungo), but I didn't know there was a 'special' version of the Wagon. Was it also called 'Vemaguet' maybe?

Or is it the name 'Vemag' ( Veículos e Máquinas Agrícolas ), the Brazilian importer, you're looking for?

Anyway, here's another picture I have ...

Carnut

No, that's not what I'm looking for.
If you look carefully at the two pictures the one you have posted is not at all the same car as the one in the puzzle picture - compare the glasshouse and shape of the windows - and the rear bumper..
You still have nineteen and three-quarters of an hour left!

You're right .... little differences (never noticed this before  ???)

Is the blue one some sort of prototype then maybe?

Yes, a design exercise rather than a prototype.

One source mentions the name 'Perua" DKW Fissore?

And also has 2 more picture I've never seen before ...
