I just said it looks like one (which it does)!
If it's not, it could be anything including the modern "Likamobile" copy as US-built steam buggies are all quite similar.
Not a Stanley, as that had semi-elliptic front springs which this hasn't.

BUT
I made a mistake: it was sold in England, but the car was produced in America. I am sorry about this. Apparently this is a repost, the original car has appeared on AP before. If you find the British brand, you'll get a point and the puzzle will be merged.
