This is a Wartburg 353 based GDR design proposal  for a sports coupe from ca. 1970.

It was called the AWE Wartburg 355

You're so right! And for an Eastern European car, it's not bad-looking at all.

especially the front looks a little bit like the Lancia Fulvia Zagato, the back is similar to the first VW Passat series.

Six of these cars were built. Their body was made of fiberglass. The Wartburg factory got technological help from Hans Wax.
