That is a Moretti..or someone should tell him what he have done with his design for a 750 sedan, but this is different from the 750 Alger-Le Cap...I'll check my books when I'll be home.If I make it in time....

it is also different from the 1200 sedan...

It is a Moretti, and you're closer than you think.

Ok, blind guess..Moretti 750 Tour du Monde?

Is that simply a 750 Coupè?

Ray B.

Not a 750.
But you saw it was a Moretti and that was the most important. I think I should not wait for you to find the exact model and give you the point. If you take a closer look, there are some weird things in this picture: see the rear fender sculpturing, the absence of door handle... I think there has been some retouching on the photo. If you don't find the same document (but you still can, it's on a website often visited by us puzzlers) you may never find the car.
You want to make a last try?

I saw that the front is quite the same of the 750 and the fender let me think of some french chassis, but Moretti worked on Fiat (500,600,1200), Alfa Romeo (Giulietta), Lancia and Maserati, so my last question...is it in this list?

I'd say Fiat, without certainty, you'll see why. But the picture (an old Moretti ad, which I cropped) doesn't say. Sorry

Ok, so it's not on that list, has it a particular name or it's just a number?

Ray B.

Just a number and a model year.

Not 1100 (you really want to earn that point all by yourself, don't you).

Well, I'll tell you, I like very much these coachbuilders and I collect many books, all I found was Moretti 500-600-750-720-1200 and the bigger 1500-2200-2500, I've pics of quite all of them and the closer is the 750...

Ray B.

O.K., Paul, you've tried hard enough and that point is yours. You know much more than me about Morettis. Here's another one for you.

Moretti 1200 Gran Sport Coupè, listed as a 1957 model, so it was presented in 1955!
Thank you for the pic!
