That would be what our British cousins call "aluminium." Though why anyone would bother with this ugly duckling is a mystery to me.

My guess is the folks at Alcoa had a big hand in this project. Unfortunately, their styling department quit en masse and their replacements had yet to be hired.

Ford motor but NOT a Ford product, I'm guessing.

Here's what I think:

A. Not a Ford

B. From the 50's

The profile of the trunk lid seems to indicate a decent amount of rear taper...might this be a three-wheeler?

OK, it's got aluminum body panels, a rear mounted flathead V8 by Ford, and more than three wheels. That should narrow it down quite a bit, no?
