Looks as if it should be a Triumph Southern Cross Sports saloon of about 1936, but I can't fins a photo of one to check it.

The more I look at this, the more I think it's a Triumph, but not a Southern Cross. Could it be a Triumph Gloria?

It's a Standard Avon "Waymaker"
Goodness me, so it is ;D
1934 Standard Avon Waymaker Pillarless Saloon, to be exact. Accodring to the site where I found this picture, it is the only surviving example of this coachbuilt "pillarless" saloon, built by Avon of Warwick on a twin carb version of the 1934 10 hp chassis.
