I found the same picture, but without any name for the car. It's competing for the title of smallest car ever with this one:

Those two cars had more in common than I thought : the same make. Otto Puzzell's is supposed to be a 1946 Suranyi (or Syranyi) 50cc. Mine a 1947 Syranyi 125 cc. And I wonder if the mustachioed driver wouldn't be the same in the three pictures (please note that he is wearing goggles in the second pic. That thing must have been FAST! )

Endre (or Andrew) Surányi (1913-1996) was a car technician, inventor and journalist. He invented fuel saving carburettor, developed the priming system. Built his first car in 1946, it has followed by some other small cars - just like those, which was posted above. He won in 1946 motorbike Grand Prix, and he was second and 3rd in the motor boat European Championship in that era.
