Maybe one is a Ghia design? One grill reminds me of the Dual Ghias of the 1950´s

The two cars in the puzzle are very closely related.

That is a Simca 1200 by Ghia from 1954 and a Abarth 103 GT siluro by Ghia from 1953

Both of the cars in the puzzle pic are coupes, and have 1500cc engines.

I'm a bit confused...is the withe one correct?
The other might be a Simca\Abarth Gt coupe Ghia, but it's a 1200 from 1954...

Ok, I checked out...if the car in your puzzles is the white one and a car practically the same as the cabrio I posted but with a coupè body, than I'm sure they are the ones I posted as reported in the Abarth Catalogue Raisonne and in the Ghia Catalogue Raisonne..I've got both of them and that's the name of the 2 cars in my pictures (except for the cabrio).

Well, I don't know what to tell you....

Here is the original pic, named as I found it (not sure where...)

Ok, I'll write what reports my books:
"Simca 1200 1954, The coupè exhibited by the French firm at the 41st paris Motor Show (7th-17th October), revealed its close derivation from the Fire-Arrow model produced by Ghia for Chrysler"
in the Ghia book and
"Following an agreement with Simca (or, according to other sources, on his own initiative, intended to start a relationship of collaboration) Abarth created, using components of the Simca, this splendid GT coupè, whose lines clearly recall those of the previous model, the Fiat Abarth 103 GT Coupè Ghia."
in the Abarth book below the Simca|Abarth GT Coupè Ghia 1954 technical data (4-cyl 1221cc 45cv....) and
"Another very special number, this time realised in collaboration with another famous Tourin body builder:Ghia. The frame, the engine and the suspension, with special modifications, were those of the Fiat 1100 then in production. it seems that this model also went to the USA" below the Abarth 103 GT Coupè Ghia 1953 technical data (4-cyl 1089cc 64cv....) elsewhere (but no officially) called "siluro".

I'll award one point each to Paul, Grob and Ray, and call it a day.

I'll move this one into the "bad ideas hatched by Karn" folder.  :(

You shouldn't do that - I thought it was quite a good idea. If I'd had the time, I would have printed it, cut it, and puzzled it :)

If any sensible person should stumble upon this forum and read this thread, he would most certainly suggest that we should get a life.

QuoteThe frame, the engine and the suspension, with special modifications, were those of the Fiat 1100 then in production.

The right one is a Fiat 1100 with Ghia Body, not a Simca.

Here´s another photo of this Fiat:
