I'd say that's a Teilhol Tangara, based on a Citroën 2CV.

Edit: On second thoughts this is more probably the Teilhol Tangara 1100, with the engine (and the dashboard) of the Citroën AX, since the nose seems to be a bit longer. Cf. http://www.auto-pub.net/page_Teilhol_Tangara_cat.htm

Yes, this is a Teilhol body, so you can have a point. But does anyone know the story of this particular example, which definitely doesn't have an 1100cc engine?

The license plate looks Dutch, but AFAIK the combination HF was only used by dealers and car makers (Handelaren & Fabrikanten), only at the end of the plate (xx-xx-HF).

;D  Teilhol was French, of course... I only mentionned that in Holland the HF plates would indicate that the car isn't privately owned, but that it is used (for test drive e.g.) by a dealer or a manufacturer (and indeed, there was not only Daf as Dutch car make  ;) )

Follow that Dutch connection...

There was another country involved too but no more clues (yet...)

I've given you a point, Allemano, for finding the AAT site and identifying it from there.

However, the name I have is different - OK, I'll spill the beans. I believe AAT was responsible for the design and it was actually marketed under a different name - the M.T.C. Pushpak built in around 1993 by the Maharishi Technology Corporation NV of Amsterdam, with electric power
