This puzzle, though large in number, should be easier than some of the other recent matching puzzles posted. Most all of the cars are instantly recognizable by moderately knowledgeable auto enthusiasts. So, match the car's model name with the plane's nickname or the train's identifier. Simple as that. As the machine's are ID'd, I'll post the name under the picture. Oh, and to add a little bit of difficulty, some of the pictures' numbers might be hard to find.

Well for a start No. 21 is a Mini Traveller and No. 35 is a Beech 17, in this case (being Navy) designated UC-43 Traveler (edited, no that's Army, should have said GB-2!)

Sadly I know very few of the (US) cars, and military aeroplanes, particularly from the USofA are not my field either.

actually 17 is the Phantom - you got No 13 as the Banshee later!
Oops! I saw so many planes that I got confused. And the Banshee is the 31, not the 13 in fact. I'll check for the Phantom and correct that if you agree. Thanks.

Maybe so. But Autopuzzles has enough to offer to anybody's taste, hasn't it? Old cars, new cars... I already told you, I am European too and in a nutshell I can't recognize most European cars and any post-1970 car except those I see in the street. So what? I concentrate on what I know best. Then, 41 is a Packard Hawk, and 29 a Curtiss F6C-3 Hawk
That leaves 14 and 24.
24 is the Pennsylvania Railroad locomotive designed by Raymond Loewy (graciously posing). It is known as the S-1 or 6100, so the car N° 14 should be the "something... S-1 or 6100".
I can't find anything with one of these names, but I think other guys here will be better at that.
