If you know this car one point will be added to your account.
Sometimes it happens that I'd like to have additional information about the designer, engine or characteristics.
I will let you know on these occasions!
Pegaso?
Nope!
The proportions are reminiscent of a Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing... so, maybe a 300 special?
Got nothing to do with a Mercedes of any kind.
There's still a long way to go...
Some King OF Jaguar?
Moved...
Is this the Farina bodied Jaguar XK120?
Almost correct...
That's what the caption says in the 1952 photo I have. There was also a Farina-bodied Jaguar called the Meteor but I don't think that is the same car
Close enough! No, the Meteor is not exactly the same car.
"Almost" was related to 'Farina', but guess you mean Stabilimenti Farina not Pinin Farina. BTW: This was the last car of this company before closing the doors!
(There's a I missing at the end of Stabiliment ;) )
Fixed!
"you've seeked something out" I guess?
Thanks ImpishGr.! :D
For 1 point - what's this, by whom, from when?
Google Image Search continues to raise its ugly head on AutoPuzzles.
For the sake of our newer members who may not be aware of past discussions on it, Google Image Search as a means of solving puzzles is banned on this website.
AutoPuzzles is primarily a game of automotive knowledge, not of who can copy and paste the quickest.
We ask all members to remember and respect this, and retain the right to ask puzzle-solvers how they came to their answer.
Have fun!
I presume Delahay would be too simple

I'm afraid it's not one of those!
ICBIWNPB!
;D
So there you have it if you understand the coded messages!
This car has featured as a puzzle before so will see if the Rookies can get it; if not it will be merged with the original puzzle..
OK, 2 weeks and the Rookies haven't solved this one so it's time to post a couple more pics and merge it with the original:
