At first blush it seems to be a Ford Falcon, modifed for land speed or fuel economy runs. On the other hand it seems to short and wide.

A homologation special of some sort, I'd guess...

It IS a Falcon. A very special Falcon. But which one?
If you identified the man behind it it might help.

Hi, that man is John Holman and that is a Challenger 3 Rally Falcon.

Yes! And that Holman Moody car was dubbed "The world's fastest Falcon".
After several Whaddyacallit where Karn and Paul both gave part of the answer and I eventually gave the point to Karn, I think Paul rightly deserves this one. He made the toughest part of the job.
