One of the many variations on the Hillman Hunter theme (Minx/Hunter/Gazelle/Vogue/Sceptre/Arrow/Paykan)... With this grille and bumper, I'd go for a circa 1975 Sunbeam Hunter (though the name Hillman might still be in use in some countries).

Then it should be the 1976-1979 Chrysler Hunter ( http://www.rootes-chrysler.co.uk/proto-arrow.htm ; my Dutch / Belgian 1976 catalogue still listed it as Sunbeam  ;) )

Maybe it's the Hindustan Contessa from India.

Hillman Master Hunter?

Got to be a variant of the Rootes Arrow correct?

Otto Puzzell

You are both on the right track; the right manufacturer was mentioned in an earlier guess. However, since the infamous Crosley Scorpion episode, I've shied away from responding to each part of multiple-choice answers.  :(

I need that manufacturer, and the model designation, to award the point.  :)

I'll keep trying, but less convinced, now... Iran Khodro Paykan?

According to http://ali.hbster.googlepages.com/paykan it would be a '1600', on other sites I only found 'Deluxe' or just Paykan (the Farsi word for Arrow) without a more detailled modelname. Still I'm a bit surprised that this would be a Paykan, since all pics I could find from Iran show different details...

Otto Puzzell

I had it listed as a Paykan 1700. Point's yours...
