What's the name of this car? (with apologies for the quality)

@re

Since when does a boat and a trike mixed together qualify as a car;D

I suppose this is one of those 'Outer Limits' creations - but it could be driven on the road so I think it qualifies. And it was designed by someone who has created quite a few cars

In my opinion the line between a trike and a three-wheeled car is defined by it having a steering wheel or handlebars, but there is probably no definite definition (nice expression). Anyway, Andy Saunders made one (albeit with a steering wheel), but it was quite a lot better-looking:

And Andy Saunders' Reliant-based boat-trike was a lot more road-friendly than this. But this one could actually go in the sea too.

SeaLegs Anaconda?

Quiller

No it's not a SeaLegs - the concept is very similar though and this example predated the SeaLegs by a couple of decades

Can the pros float this one?

@re

This couldn't, by any chance, be Barrie Stimson's "C-Donki"? I've never seen a picture of it, but the description fits this picture...

It is indeed the estimable Mr Stimson's C-Donki (aka Sea Donkey)

@re

So obscure that I couldn't even find a picture of it. Quite happy with that one ;) - a good puzzle!
