I'll clearify my first answer, about it not being Italian.

The car itself is not built in Italy, and is not related to any Italian car manufacturer. The design, however...

If the design is italian it should be Michelotti, if it is Michelotti it should be a Triumph, if it is a Triumph it could be.....

Not a Mazda, not Michelotti, not a Triumph... this was supposed to be a production car but never made it past the prototype stage. As with the Alfa Romeo puzzle I posted earlier, I've photoshopped away a detail that would have made this too easy, but the car is still easily recognisable if you've seen it before.

Audi? The doors looks like those of the first VW Passat, so this could be a concept for the Audi sister model, the 80. If it is, the design is maybe signed Italdesign?

Yes, the design was penned by ItalDesign's Giorgetto Giugiaro!

It is, however, not an Audi - you're in the wrong country.

Yes! It's the 1969-1972 Škoda 720 prototype.
