I know it looks a little bit like the red Saab Sonett prototype (Katharina).

But I´m sorry; there´s definitely no connection to Sweden. (or is it : connection "with"...?)

Yes, I was thinking Catherina, too... and then there's a hint of Rene Bonnet, like in Quiller's rookie puzzle. Any chance of a French connection?

Or, come to think of it, could this be an early Luigi Colani design?
