Hi, that seems a Lancia, probably an Aurelia B20 by someone else but Pininfarina, perhaps Boano?

Hi, that IS a Lancia Aurelia B52 from 1955 with a special bodywork by Ghia...(Boano works for him..)

Isn't this the 1952 Lancia Aurelia B55 Series 2 bodied by Ghia?

I have it as constructed in 1956, but that's the ID I was going for.

There was more than one of these made and a B55 version from 1955 was For Sale at the Imola Autojumble in Italy in September this year. Think this is the car pictured in this puzzle.  The vendor actually listed it as it as the only example, but Oude Werrnink's marque bible 'La Lancia' lists a 1952 car on a B52 chassis from 1952 whilst the B55 from 1955 is based on Chassis B55 1004.

Although built by Ghia the car was apparently designed by Boano.

For a story on this car see 'Classic & Sports Car' January 2010 issue, p20.
