Is this from a now-defunct brand?

Yes, just a few years ago.
Yes, Oldsmobile (I may have been giving a clue there, right?)
@ arunas: Year and model will be required to secure the point.

I just have no idea what model it can be, it was just a wild guess..

UPDATE: Something similar to 1910 Oldsmobile Limited Touring Seven Passenger

UPDATE 2: While searching for big Oldsmobiles I came to this: 1910 Packard Limousine (http://www.classicaldrives.com/50226711/take_a_ride_in_a_1910_packard_limousine.php), which in my opinion is extremely similar to the one in picture, but if it is REALLY Oldsmobile, then  ???  :-[

An easy way to find a car on the net, if you know the make and it's not to common, is to google "1909 Oldsmobile", "1910 Oldsmobile", 1911 Oldsmobile", 1912 Oldsmobile" and so on. It obviously is not a Touring car, which was an open body style. And the resemblance with the Packard may only mean than they had the same coachbuilder, or that the same body style looked quite the same from one manufacturer to another.

@Paul Jaray: If you found the picture you have the name. The point will automatically be yours in 5 hours and 30 minutes if Arunas doesn't show up with the dough, and he seems to have taken his business elsewhere.

As promised, the point is attributed to Paul Jaray. It will be added as soon as he'll post is identification for the car.

Sorry for the delay and thank you for the chanche, I found this pic simply as a Oldsmobile Limousine from 1911, but I believe it's a Limited Six (Series 23) Limousine.

As I had the  same picture, I could simply guess this was a Limited. But I found this other photo of another, well documented and from the Nethercutt collection. It's easy to see why Arunas found a lot of similarities with the 1910 Packard. Those Limiteds were truly huge cars: the wheebase is 138 inches, so you can figure how high this thing is. And, at  $5800, worth about the price of a very nice house, says my Olds book.
