Lincoln Continental Zephyr Town Car?
Lincoln is right.
Now, it cannot be both a Continental and a Zephyr, you have to choose.
A kind of Town Car alright, but Lincoln didn't make a Town Car that year. Who designed it, who build it?
American cars aren't exactly my forte, but I'll guess a 1941 Lincoln Zephyr by Le Baron.
Still wrong
It's a 1941 model, restyled in 1946 by Raymond Loewy.
You did it... almost. It was modified by Derham for Raymond Loewy himself, according to his own design, yes.
But make AND MODEL are required. It's famous enough, so I won't give you the point without it (I'm not accepting answers from anyone but jimjarron).
Actually I hadn't come across this car before, so I can only go off the references I have found, which point to it being a 1941 Lincoln Continental V-12, belonging to Raymond Loewy, which he restyled for his personal use. Derham & Company of Rosemont, Pennsylvania executed the work, which involved lowering the body six inches over the frame and effecting the required alterations to the bodywork (principally the grille and the rear of the car).
Answer complete.
This car is still around. He had another made for his wife (although in his book he says it was for a friend. But Loewy isn't a very reliable source, even about himself).
