1932 Bergholt Streamline
I can see why you would believe it, but look closer. It's not it.
Oh, by the way... http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=4694.0
It's a Volvo, and I have seen it before, but don't know what or when.
I need a complete identification as you know.
Having been promoted, Hugo can't go further with this one. Let's move it upstairs!
Easy prey: Volvo Venus Bilo from 1933 (!)
Correct.
For the sake of completion, here are a couple of other pictures.
The vehicle was likely built on a Volvo PV655 chassis. The PV655 chassis was new for 1933 and was the version intended for use by outside coachbuilders. A firm called 'Nordbergs of Stockholm' built the body using five easily-interchangable flat steel panel sections in case of body damage.
The name "Venus Bilo" is a wordplay on "Venus of Milo" (the famous Greek sculpture) and "Bil" (Swedish for 'car').
"Doctors say that Nordberg has a 50/50 chance of living, though there's only a 10 percent chance of that."
