Vitrex Riboud le hanneton (the bug).

Looking for the name of the company that built this one.

It's correct to say that the Riboud built by either Vitrex or Marland was the exact same car; identical in every way. 

I know becuase I was unfortunate enough to own one of these horrors (a Vitrex) for six days.  It remains the most frightening car that I have ever driven, and I've driven an awful lot of cars! 
Somewhat mysteriously I bought the Riboud from the French Caterham importer.  Quite why they had possesed such a thing remains a complete mystery.  I hope it wasn't for some handling and road holding tips!!
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

Except, Marland was not yet purchased by Riboud until the year after this car was built.
