Do the math using the following formula and names of the pictured cars.
Find out what the correct value of the Mercedes A is and earn a point.
ADG MII 1 ADG MII 2 ADG MII 3 ADG MII 4 + ADG MII 5 + ADG MII 6 + ADG MII 7 X ADG MII 8 ADG MII 9 ADG MII 10 ADG MII 11 + ADG MII 12 ADG MII 13 + ADG MII 14
And the second batch of pics:
Can Experts make the correct sum?
OT but something I've always wanted to ask:
In English (UK) we abbreviate the word "mathematics" to "maths".
Since in English(US) the abbreviation seems to be "math", if you used the full word, is it "mathematic"?

We are not looking for the project code of the Mercedes A in this puzzle.
OK then W169 - sure im wrong because if I understand you right its not a project code your after !
So just to add to my ignorance !
I see +'s and X between ADG's but what are you meant to do when theres knowing between ? my basic GCSE maths says nothing = multiply !!! ADG MII 1 ADG MII 2 ADG MII 3 ADG MII 4

Identify the cars and it will become totally clear for you when some times a '+' or 'x' is present and sometimes not...

Can pro's come up with the correct result?
Hmm... I was hoping for a more "round" result, but it seems that Mercedes A's value is -826/621??

I guess you're saying that those are all wrong calculations?
Strange, as I'm 100% sure I identified all the cars correctly. I'm also sure I can do elementary maths...
PS: I tried to send you a PM, but your inbox is full.

These are indeed the wrong answers that were already tried.
I just recalculated my sum and I have my same result.
So I suppose you don't know how elementary maths works...or you misidentified 1 or more cars...
I cleaned up my inbox.
Ok, I guess I know which car i should've counted in a different way. In this case the Mercedes-Benz A-Klasse = -1
The cars are:
1. Peugeot 207
2. Mercedes-Benz A-Klasse
3. Morgan Plus Four Plus
4. Caterham 21
5. Fiat 500
6. Fiat Sedici
7. Audi quattro
8. DKW 3=6
9. BMW X6
10. Fiat Punto
11. Renault 5
12. Saab 93
13. Fiat X1/9
14. Maserati 228
207a + 4 + 21 + 500 + 16 + 4 x 3 = 6 x 6.5 + 93 x 1 / 9 + 228
207a + 553 = 348
207a = -207
a = -1
q.e.d. :)

No it is not!
But now that you revealed all your answers (including the error(s)) you must probably move fast before someone else comes up with the correct result...
I give up, i don't have time. Someone can get this point, not a problem for me.
Aa, what the heck.
207a + 4 + 21 + 500 + 16 + 4 x 3 = 6 x 6.5 + 93 x 1 / 9 + 228
207a + 553 = 348
207a = -205
a = -205/207
Looks much less pleasant than -1.

So, are the cars wrongly identified? Or is it a matter of calculations?
Cars wrongly identified and that may or may not affect the calculations.

Here's my calculation:
1: Peugeot 206 plus (206+)
2: Mercedes A
3: Morgan plus four plus (+4+)
4: Caterham 21
5: Fiat Trepiuno (3+1)
6: Fiat Sedici (16)
7: Audi Quattro (4)
8: DKW 3=6
9: BMW x6
10: Fiat Punto (.)
11: Renault 5
12: Saab 9-3
13: Fiat x1/9
14: Maserati 228
method 1 (pemdas):
206+A+4+21+3+1+16+4x3 = 6x6.5+9-3x1/9+228
206+A+4+21+3+1+16+12 = 39 +9-0,333+228
263+A = 275.667
A = 275.667-263
A = 12.667
method 2:
(206+A+4+21+3+1+16+4)x3 = (6x6.5+9-3)x1/9+228
(255+A)x3 = 233
255+A = 233/3
A = 233/3 - 255
A = -177,333
The first person who combines the correct identified cars from both ImpishGrin and guido66 can score a point here!
1: Peugeot 206 plus (206+)
2: Mercedes A
3: Morgan plus four plus (+4+)
4: Caterham 21
5: Fiat Trepiuno (3+1)
6: Fiat Sedici (16)
7: Audi Quattro (4)
8: DKW 3=6
9: BMW x6
10: Fiat Punto (.)
11: Renault 5
12: Saab 93 (9^3)
13: Fiat x1/9
14: Maserati 228
206+A+4+21+3+1+16+4x3 = 6x6.5+9^3+228
263+A = 348
A = 85
85 is the correct answer.
This was another great puzzle ;D
WTF is a Peugeot 206 Plus?
A recycled Peugeot 206.
Same story as the Clio Story, Punto Classic or Seat Exeo: old models, again on the market to keep price down.
