It is what it is. 

Hard to say from my point of view what you think it is or what you think it seems to be. 
Although not the most obvious car, it is not obscure at all.

I would like to help all of you with solving the puzzle. 
Problem is that it seems that most of you struggle with a different car.
So I don't know how I can help all of you without giving an advantage to only one or some persons.
Any suggestions?

Once the correct answer is found, I would like to know from all of you which cars + numbers you used in all your attempts. 
It is absolutely unbelievable that it is still unsolved after 42 attempts.

Now after I've found #5 Audi is indeed the hardest part. It looks like a standard C3 with its most common name, but that would be too easy.

(And I hope the answer is not 2824...)

#1 is quite obvious, it's called the same way all around the world
#2 can be called in 4 different ways, all tried
#3 I think it's clear now
#4 I'm sure about this
#5 I've got the same pic
#6 I looked closer and find the correct name

I found that #1 has another number in a few countries

#1 - can be recognized easily. It's in a puzzle, so it's most possibly another name.
#2 - has 5 names I could find, and 4000 is not one of them (that was an Audi 80, I believe). Plus there is something more, but I've made a gues with that already.
#3 - I though of one car but then changed my mind
#4 - the easiest name? I couldn't find any other indexes for it
#5 - now I've also got the same picture
#6 - for me it's quite obvious
